Our Spanish Courses in Tenerife - San Cristobal de la Laguna
Intensive course
It is the most flexible of the courses and the teachers can give the maximum of their attention to the students. The student will have 4 hours a day of class and can start any Monday of the year, but only on the first and the third Monday (of any month) if he/she is a beginner.
The minimum duration for this course is 1 week. The classes are divided into grammar and conversation lessons and the students will be able to practice reading, writing, speaking and listening.
Combined course (Intensive course and Individual lessons)
This course consists of 15 hours of Intensive course + 4 hours of Individual course each week and it is the perfect one for those who don’t have a lot of time to dedicate to the study of Spanish language. Individual lessons are focused on particular aspects, such as Spanish culture or conversation, and take place before the beginning of the daily Intensive course hours (the exact time can be arranged between the teacher and the student).
The students who are absolute beginners should start the course on every first and third Monday of any month, while all the others can start any Monday of the year; people cannot attend this course for less than 2 weeks but we can guarantee you that it will surely meet their personal needs.
Combined courses (Spanish and Salsa)
Salsa is an important part of the culture of the Canary Islands (here it is probably the only place in Europe where the true Salsa culture can still be discovered) and we give our students the opportunity of learning it while taking Spanish lessons. Students who
decide to attend this kind of course will have 20 hours of Spanish class + 4 hours of Salsa (which are held in the afternoon) per week.
Combined courses (Spanish and surf)
With this kind of course you will be able to combine the learning of Spanish with surfing lessons. It consists of 20 hours of Spanish per week + 5 hours of surfing lessons (on the weekends); these ones are given at any level (even for beginners) and all the material you need will be included in the price of the course.
Anyone who wants to apply for this course will have to attend it for at least 2 weeks.
Combined course (Spanish and Canarian cuisine)
By attending this combined courses, anyone will be able to learn Spanish and cook the wonderful Canarian cuisine, which is famous all over the world (for its “mojo” and some delicious desserts, for instance).
You will have 5 hours of Canarian cuisine class + 20 hours of Spanish lessons per week. You will have to attend this kind of combined course for no less than 2 weeks.
Individual lessons
The student himself can arrange the schedule and contents of these classes, but he/she has to follow at least 1 hour (55 minutes) of class per week. Thanks to this kind of course the student will be able to combine a short period of staying in our school with a maximum of learning of the Spanish language.
The needs and preferences of the student will be totally met with this kind of combined course; he/she will be given personalized lessons on every aspect of the Spanish language.
Students have the possibility of combining Individual lessons with an Intensive course. The student will be able to decide the number of lessons he/she wants or needs to take and can also introduce a particular topic he/she would like to discuss about, provided that he/she will let the teacher know before classes start.
DELE preparation course
The DELE (Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language) is the most important examination for Spanish language that a foreign student can take. There are different levels (Basic, Intermediate and Higher Diploma) and our school does have programs for the students in order to be prepared to take any of the three.
The course lasts 12 weeks and the students have to attend 8 hours of DELE preparation course per week. We also can offer an Intensive DELE Preparation Course, which consists of 20 hours of class per week during the last 4 weeks before the exam. The months during which the DELE exam takes place are November and May, please contact us for the exact dates.
Spanish for Academic Purposes
This course has been designed for those students who want to study at a Spanish university. Since the course is very advanced, they are asked to have a good level of Spanish. If you are an absolute beginner, we recommend you to attend the Combined course which puts together the Intensive course with the Individual lessons.
Part-time course
If you want to combine the learning of Spanish with your holidays, then this is the right course for you! You will be asked to begin the first Monday of any month of the year, to attend 3 hours a day of class (twice a week) for a minimum duration of 3 weeks.
Au pair
These courses consist of 4 hours of Spanish per week (2 lessons per week).
