Our Spanish School in Tenerife - San Cristobal de la Laguna

Our Spanish school is situated in the centre of La Laguna (where you can find many shops and experience the nightlife of Tenerife) and it shows its Colonial roots, after a well-done restoration. The classes of our school usually have a maximum of 6 students, in order for them to be able to take advantage of a close relationship with the teacher, who this way can give more attention to every single person. People who want to attend our courses take a test on their very first day of class, in order to measure their Spanish level and place them in the group that best suits their needs (they will have class with other foreign students, which is definitely going to enrich their experience); we are able to offer 4 different levels of Spanish language (Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced). All our teachers are enthusiastic about their job and want the students to learn not only about Spanish language but also about Spanish culture and beautiful Tenerife; they are all very friendly and the students always feel comfortable talking with them during classes and outside of them.

Our school also offers an indoor patio, a rooftop terrace (from which students can enjoy some sights of our city or just simply relax in the sun), a computer room (with free internet access) and a library (where students can borrow magazines and books, to study or just to read, but always with the objective of practicing their Spanish).

Activities

We are able to offer you many cultural, social, sporting and open-air activities (just keep in mind that these last ones will usually take place on the weekends). You will have to pay just only for some of our activities (but we assure you that prices are very affordable).

  • El Teide: it’s the highest mountain in Spain and there is a cable car which will take our students up to its 3,715 metres high summit; from up there, you will be able to enjoy some beautiful views over the other Canarian Islands. If you want to stay overnight (but this option is independent from the school sponsored trip) you should book some days in advance at the Altavista lodging.
  • Loro Parque: this zoo is situated in Puerto de la Cruz, it is the biggest tourist attraccion of our Islands and it is world-famous.
  • Masca: it is a beaultiful 400-metres long vergin and isolated beach. It is characterized by very calm waters and black sand, but we wouldn’t recommend it to people who are afraid of heights.
  • Barranco del Infierno: it is situated in Adeje, South of Tenerife, and it is one of the most beautiful protected natural parks of our island. There is an impressive 560 metres-high waterfall to admire.

Some of the cultural activities arranged by our school are the following:

  • Guided tours of La Laguna
  • Guided tour to Santa Cruz
  • Visits to other towns throughtout the island
  • Visits to museums and other important cultural sites thrughout the city
  • Dinner out every second Wednesday of the month to give students the opportunity to get together and taste different Canarian dishes.
  • Nights out in La Laguna
  • Welcoming get-together for new students in one of our local pubs, every Monday

You will be able to choose between many more activities, which are posted weekly on our notice board.
